Yes. In 2005 I was best man at my friend's wedding in Ireland. That meant emceeing the reception and giving a funny speech about the groom. Watching the wedding video is like seeing a car crash is slow motion. The wine glass hits the mouth 32 times before I put a hand on the microphone. Dance, dance, dance, catch garter. Remove other garter with teeth. Dance, dance, dance. 17 pints of Guinness. Hit on an ex-fling from NY. Hit on bride's cousin. Hit on groom's sister. 3 shots of Jameson. Hit on bridesmaids, thinking two birds with one stone. More dancing, more drinking. 6 a.m. give it another shot with the bride's cousin. Hit on groom's niece. Hooking up with groom's coworker until she sees me with bride's cousin and groom's niece. Incoherence. Wake up at 12:30 p.m. Find out it was not a dream.

It is a lifestyle choice. Ohhh the wasted time and money cleaning up the debaucherious acts of the past.
