well, living in this materialistic world, and where looks mean EVERYTHING. pretty girls have to have a nice "body" or whatever and nice face. and you noe wht i hate? i hate it when people say its personality that counts. yeah DUHHH! we all noe that personality counts, but wht do u first see when you look at a guy. you look at him from afar, then go in for the kill, so looks DO MATTER. i hate to say it. but its true. this whole world has made it to say that loooks matter, and they bring people down for no REASON. it shouldnt matter wht you look like on the outside, it matters how much HEART you have and how much love is insidde of you. GUSHY. i noe. but pretty is just a word. and i think that girls who try hard to be something their not and change every aspect of what they look arent PRETTY at all

Hmmm...its a tough one.
I know its such a naff thing to say but beauty really is in the eye of the beholder!
what i might find pretty or handsome-someone might find really unattractive.
To me, i find dark haired, dark eyed girls really beautiful. but dark i mean black, with light to olive skin. big dark eyes, perfect eyebrows is a must. a nose thats long enough to be called a nose but not to big. shaped full red lips. good skin. and above all nice teeth. yellow unshaped teeth are a big no no.
thats stunning. think middle eastern/persian/pakistani kind of look-some of the best looking ppl in the world come from these places. that to me is beauty.
in terms of western beauty-think kate winslet not britney spears.
its hard-but everyones idea is different. but to be a pretty girl, one just has to look after herself. keep the hair good. weight at an average level. drink lots of water to keep skin and eyes glowing, wear nice clothes. BUT NO MAKE UP-make up is not nice-guys dont wear it so i dont see why women should. only for very special occassions.
a woman is not beautiful if make up is what defines her.

Pretty can be a sweet smile, a fresh perfume, a nice top, a shiny lip gloss, curly eyelashes, nice jewerly, a flower, a cute puppy. I think theres pretty in almost everything and I think everyone has their opinion of pretty. So something that might not be pretty to you might be pretty to someone else.

people who really have nothing to do other than putting lot of make up everytime for no reason are considered pretty.

You're attractive if you seem interested in the person you're with, make eye contact, and contribute to the conversation without making it all about you. If you do that and are average to above as far as looks you'll be beautiful to whoever you're you're with.
