I can't really say this is unanswerable, but to the best of my knowledge, a solution to this problem has not yet been found:

Using the following (thermodynamic) equation of state for a gas, come up with a fundamental relation for the gas.
P = (nRT/V-nb)exp[-(na/RTV)]

THe problem is, you didn't explain if your teacher wants a question which is _intrinsically_ unanswerable, in that there _is_ no answer, or just a question we can't answer _now_, or just a question YOU can't answer.

Category 1: Name something heavier than itself. Name the largest number. What color is goodness?

Category 2: Why can't we all just get along? Why does there appear to be a solar neutrino deficit? How do you reconcile quantum mechanics with gravity? Why doesn't string theory actually WORK?

Category 3: Why do I ask other people to do my homework for me? Why is Pi an irrational number. Why Pi are square?

Good Physics Questions To Ask

It is not quite "unanswerable" but it is a tough one:
A drop of water landing on a hot plate at 150 C (300 F) evaporates in a few seconds.
A drop of water landing on a hot plate at 200 C (400 F) survives a whole minute.
(The tough part is answering it with physics principles, not just analogies)

For unsolved questions, there are many Web sites, including Wikipedia.

If an irresistible force meets an immovable object, which would prevail?

Man, that is old.

Try consulting Mr. Stephen Hawking instead. He's been trying to answer silverbirch's question above also. I'm sure he knows a lot of tough Physics-related questions.

Good luck!

Bonus question:

"what can you do to relax your push on the walls in order to rest?if you relax without considering physics, the walls will not hold you up.
WHAT IS THE ANSWER TO THIS ,ONE QUESTION EXAM?"

ask ur teacher how this universe has been fomed??although this question may seem easy to u bt juz think if this universe is the result of big bang then how big bang occured??according to big bang theory ther was an egg of mass which get unstable coz of their gravity but if there was mass then it definately proves that there was the universe in the existing form so u cnt say tht this universe is the result of the big bang
