When watching them breathe is calming.
When snuggling with them on the couch while they're watching T.V. is the very best way to spend an evening.
When they accidentally pass gas in a movie theatre, and all you can do is laugh hysterically because it was just so darn cute watching them squirm and blush afterwards.
When you go shopping and most of the things in the cart end up being for them, because you just can't help looking, and you forgot all about those new jeans that you actually came here for.
When you look in a mirror to see how you look, and the only thought running through your mind is how they'll like it.
When you desperately, sincerely, need to have a child with this person, because having a part of them mixed with a part of you is necessary for your emotional survival.
When you look at them, any time of the day, and just have to smile, because they are there.

And then, marriage really has to be worked at by both people. Treat each other as if it is the last day you will ever see each other. That way, if something nasty happens to either of you, then you can know that you at least loved him/her as well as you could while they were there. And if you spend over 50 years together, you can look back on a long full marriage knowing you got the absolute most out of it, with no regrets.

To answer this question. Horoscopes can be used to get insight and understanding of people's characters and inborn tendancies. They can not predict how two people will interact together, because a lot of characteristics are formed by environment. The tests we have to go through in life, and the way we've chosen to deal with them have a lot more to do with building character, than the horoscope sign we were born under.

So in looking to see if a long term relationship might be possible with a person you have met. Take into consideration all things. Yes, you can look at those horoscope books that give characteristics. But also consider the person themselves. And then if you feel similar to what iritadragon has outlined above, I'd say that it's a pretty good indication that you love him. But are you "destined" for each other? Who knows. In any relationship, you are only contributing 50% of the feelings. It takes HIS 50% to make a whole. And we can never know EXACTLY what anyone else may be feeling.

One thing is for sure -- Astrological sign has nothing to do with it. My first wife and I were both Geminis, and if you believe the astrologists we would have been destined for a terrible marriage. We had a wonderful marriage right up to the day she was killed in a car accident. Do yourself a favor and don't put any stock in astrology. The best way to tell if you're "destined" for each other is how much the two of you have in common, especially when it comes to religious beliefs, morals, and interests. They say opposites attract, but opposites don't stay together. The more you have in common, the better chance that you have found your "soul mate."
