Nope, it is caused by a lack of dopamine in the brain.

everyone reacts differently. while most people will draw a line between games, dramas, and novels from the reality, there're people who have harder time differentiating the two. and the strength of differentiating also varies from one person to another. when the latter gets exposed to violent games, they will develop schizophrenic behavior readily.

the ones that have answered no show how many people actually do differentiate games from the reality well. also, it depends how many hours a day you're exposed to it. the brain often generalizes what it learns, and if you're playing violent games, for example, more than 10 hours a day for a whole month, you may develop schizophrenia, at least more than before. different environments do affect the brain. the brain learns really fast, sometimes too fast--this is one of its upside and downside.

all in all, it really depends on people.

No. There are many young people who have schizophrenia and they are too young to have had enough exposure to what you mentioned in the question. There are also older people with the conditions whose life experiences and backgrounds do not include any of the above.

I believe everything may lead to schizophrenic bahaviour as there is no practice that is accurately 100% addiction-free.

Might lead to some kind of psychological behavior if that person was addicted to it so much.
