Hi

I asked a question yesterday and everyone was most helpful.. I have read your replies and read lots of posts from others since and the answers to those...

I am wondering i have symptoms of pregnancy or not?:

I am normally a cold person, but the past week, i have been quite hot in temperature for me, swollen ankles a lot too

I have been going to the loo more frequently and have been an emotional wreck for the past week

I am feeling tired, but i have been busy these past couple of weeks so im not sure if it is that...

I have for the past two days felt the feeling (like a light cramp) i get just before i come on my period, but no period..

Some of you advised i take a pregnancy test as its two weeks since intercourse without protection and ive not been on the pill for past 3 months... do I still go and get a test today or wait to see if my period starts?

Going to the bathroom frequently and fatigue are classic signs of pregnancy. Go ahead and take a test. Some can detect pregnancy several days before a missed period. Be advised that a negative result could mean the hcg in your blood is not concentrared enough to detect, so you may need to retest later. Be sure to use first morning urine for best results. Good luck! =)

Remember that the first and a compulsory symptom is amenorrhea, so u must wait till ur period is late by a week, and then have a pregnancy test of urine, nigative or positive, if periods are late for two weeks, go for an ultrasound examination and then only the pregnancy should be confirmed or ruled out.

Some of those could be symptoms, but they could just as easily be stress or a virus. Two weeks might be enough time, so if you are anxious, go ahead and take a test. If it is negative tho, you may want to test again the next week if your period doesn't come.

I would take a test. It cant hurt and it will also let you know. The longer you wait for it, the more you might stress and well the later your period might be. I would just put your mind at rest, even if its negative you atleast know to expect your period and you can relax.
