i cant answer for everyone but i would like to. i did adopt out and have wondered about my child over the years. how she grew up, what she looks like, how she did in life. i would be thrilled to death to know if she married/co-habitated or even just had any children.

Yes I do. Believe it or not your grandparent probably thinks about you a lot. I adopted a child out when I was very young. My mother went to visit her grand child in hospital and had a hold. She has his birthdate and weight written in a book with no-name next to it. IA grandchild is a very important thing in your life. I am now a grandma and have now contacted by son who I adopted out. One of the most exciting things to me is knowing that he has a child who I will be meeting soon. If you know how to contact your grand parents then do it! Don't just turn up at their door though, write a nice letter telling them a little about yourself and why you would like to meet them. give them your address and phone numbers and then wait and I bet you will be pleasantly surprised at how happy they will be to contact you. Good Luck.

I know I would. The decision for one of my daughters to adopt out her child was done without knowledge to anyone before it was done. I only hope one day that my grandchild knows about me or finds me before I die. I am truely missing out on my grandchild and the love our family has for her.

I'd try and make contact with them but be prepared that you may get hurt and that it is there choice to see you or not. but you will never know if you don't go for it just respect their wishes. if they don't want to see you leave your contact info with them as they may change their minds later and let it go at that.

i do not know.. it depends.. i think they might like to .. its hard to say.. i think in order to try and contact someone you have to be on a list..
the grandparents would have to make themselves available to be contacted.. if they are not then i don't think they wish to be found
