If you have time and like good books, I strongly recommend Colleen McCullough's "Masters of Rome" series of novels (six books if I remember correctly). These books are an excellent read and cover many aspects of private and public life in Rome. Of course they are fictional, but based on historical facts and thorough research. They give you a great feel of late republican Rome.

please try google and type in "women of ancient rome"... its likely to give you a variety of sites. they were quite interesting, especially children of the senate and wives as well. those who aslo fell into the cult of isis and the shrines they made out to her... etc.
