register with google, get an account (it's all free), then submit your site - later you can get website tools and all sorts all for free - I did it and I am very pleased with the results.
Be warned though - it takes ages to get any web ranking, you should be prepared to put a lot of hard work into your site. I have sweated bullets over mine, to get a measly google ranking of 1/10.. http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk/

to get the best result use google adwords which i must inform u is a paid pay-per-clickinstant listing assured.
or u can get ur website listed using google listing for website ( this method is not given priority by google, as it taken weeks for your website to get listed)

Hi,
The offcial way to add your site to google is to use http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl page.
This process will take anywhere from 2 to 3 months to get lisetd in google.
But if you want a faster way, then get yourself a blog account in blogspot or blogger and post any of your site link in your blog.
Since google crawls blogs faster than sites, the chances of your site getting listed are higher.
