World war two was the biggest tragic event in history costing over 1.3 trillion dollers and 63 million deaths as well as the mass genocide of the jewish people and the complete vaporization of of two japanese citys by atomic bombs and not to metion the enslaveing of over 10 million people by the japanese world war two is the most tragic event in human history

The fall of Kosovo Metohija to the Ottoman Empire in 1389.
The fall of Constantinopole to that Empire in 1453.
The fall of Bosnia-Herzegovina to it in the 15th Century. The fall of Belgrade in 1521. The birth of Benjamin Disraeli and Queen Victoria in the 19th Century. The birth of Hitler on the 20.4.1889. The Genocide which was carried out against Serbs and Armenians in WW1. The Japanese invasions of China. WW2. The fall of Yugoslavia to Tito's Communists. The births of Penis Clinton and George W Bullshit in 1946. The murder of General Draza Mihailovic by the Tito regime. The tragedy of Biafra. All these are only a few of the world tragedies.

Natural disasters: - In terms of loss of life I suppose the tsunami 2 years ago was one of the most devastating events. Thousands of people died & thousands more lost everything & are still trying to rebuild their lives. Various hurricanes & earthquakes have also been devastating. If you include man made tragidies,then I suppose the two world wars; so many millions of people died. The Holocost was especially tragic - a classic example of man's inhumanity to man.
