I would suppose that if you have an employment contract that states that both spouses cannot work in the same store then yes. They would not want any kind of hanky-panky going on in the store.

My son and his wife worked at the same business, they were both allowed to work there but they had to be on different shifts. That might be a possible solution. If they have an employee handbook that does not allow for you to both work at the same store, yes they could make one of you move.
