Although I found it rather didactic in many places - meaning he tended to moralize excessively or be overly preachy - Rick Warren did provide a platform for deep thought regarding living more thoughtfully; driven by the spiritual rather than material world.

My husband.I think it was good for him in that it helped affirm direction for his questions of life.
