Anything from nature that is not altered or treated is "natural". Artificial light can be described as altered or treated as it can be made from water power (hydroelectricity) or nuclear fission. Fossil fuels (coal, oil, gas) and wood are natural.

Artificial, as even though its a natural product, it cannot burn without you lighting it.

If it is struck by lightening it's natural, but if you light it, it's artificial.
