Hey, your computer can't differentiate between good and bad pop-up windows with out a little help from you.

Luckily resolving this issue shouldn't be too hard. Almost every web browser will allow you to temporarily disable the pop-up blocker feature by pressing and holding the CTRL (control) key on your keyboard while clicking the desired link. So for this solution, you would simply load your email page, click compose / new then hold your CTRL key down and click on your Address book/ Contacts button / link.

Alternately you can configure your web browser (I'll assume you are using Internet Explorer (IE) by opening your web browser then clicking on the `Tools` menu, select `Internet Options`. Choose the `Privacy` tab from the top of the dialog then click on the `Settings` button located under the `Pop-up Blocker` section.

Hope this helps!

Try CTRL click when you click on the link to your addresses - this should temporarily (just for that click) override the pop-up blocker.
Are you using IE ? get the new IE7 which has a built-in pop-up blocker which you could turn off - are you using a google or yahoo etc.. toolbar with a pop-up blocker? are pop-ups blocked in your internet options? if so you should still get the option to unblock at the top of your browser..
Hope this helps - the CTRL fix should work as an immediate remedy anyhow.
Best of luck....

Ah, pop-up blockers. Can be useful most of the time, but those odd windows you need... >_<

Hold CTRL whilst you click something if it says another window will appear, or just clicking it blocks it.

Are you using google pop up blocker? If so, you always have the option to temporarily allow pop ups.

If you hold down the control (ctrl) key when clicking on a link, it will permit any popups called by the click to work. This is better then disabling the popup blocker.

What's the question - for this area refer to Tools / Internet Options / security.
