I like Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, Nickleback, Creed, Hinder, Nirvana, Trapt, and lesser known bands I like are Ever Stays Red, Thousand Foot Krutch, Kutless, Apologetix, Jonah33, Flyleaf, etc etc etc.

Soundgarden, Seether, Shinedown, Tantric, Days of the New come to mind. Maybe try Kittie they're a little heavier than flyleaf, but they're one of my favorites.

Man, if you like all those, you should try Finch, Funeral for a friend, Rise against, The Lostprophets, Brand New, Man theres to many to mention, but theres a few to start with!!!

if you like nirvana check out the meat puppets and the vaselines. you know meat puppets from their unplugged cd, but their own music is amazing. their 2nd record "II" is their best and has the songs that they did on unplugged, although they hardly sound like the unplugged version. the vaselines were one of kurt's favorites. they did covers of "jesus doesn't want me" on unplugged and "molly lips" and "son of a gun" on incesticide.
