Yeah, those rotten Americas. Who do they think they are coming to the aid of every downtrodden member of society. It's pretty bad the way those Americans have taken over the UN and don't allow any of the member nations to say anything bad about America.

PS

You're only supposed to take one of those pills every 8 hours, not the other way around.

I don't call America the bully, the terrorist organizations and the nations that are supporting, funding, and arming them are the real bullies. America is standing for freedom and democracy, despite our problems and mistakes, which every nation on the earth has and has made. They stand for tyranny, oppression and killing all who will not live their way. Anyone who doesn't care to be a part of this cause and this nation is free to leave and live their way of life if they feel it would be an improvement. Citizens in those nations cannot dissent, nor can they even have a public discussion on the matter as we are right now w/out coming up 'missing' or found dumped in a mass grave...

Your question is based upon a ridiculous premise: That our nation can only be judged as a whole. We are a diverse democracy with diverse views. Simply because one group endorses one policy does not mean it is endorsed by all groups.

If posed properly, your question would read "Is democracy the biggest baddest bully?" The answer of course would be a resounding "no." Democracy has a fundament basis in freedom. And while a free society is by no means perfect, it is clearly morally upright. Ethically sound.

Oh and incidently when you offer up tripe like "America has been involved in more wars than any other country in the world..." You should add that the American people are also the most charitable people in the world -- giving aid and comfort to those in need -- be it Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Somalia (that's right, Somalia) as well as several other nations.

Think before you ask!

Added: In fact the U.S DOES aid Zimbabwe (Especially in prevention and treatment of AIDS). And when the Tsunami struck in Southeast Asia, individual Americans acted without measuring the political interests.

Dear Quill, I can tell by your grammar that you are not American or at the least weren't born here, so l am happy to explain.
America has been was founded about only 230 years ago, which if you were to consult a history textbook you may learn that the US has been in more wars is incorrect (I dunno maybe the Romans).
We do not have control of the U.N., the UN hates us. Just refer to Koffee Anans retirement speach yesterday.
We don't control who has nuclear weapons or we would be the only country that would have them.
We will try to persuade other countries especially countries that are irrational like Iran and North Korea, that it isn't in their best interest to have them, because we are trying to protect ourselves from crazy people using them against our children.
By the way we did use a nuclear weapons in World War II, you got me there.

Why don't some of you check about the CIA and their covert operations in the past that have created the messes like Iraq in the first place. Some of you are pretty comfortable to comment about the history of the world since the Second World War of which some of you no nothing about.

Seems to me the United States and Russia were the biggest threat prior to 1990 to the peace of the World and the United States now presents the biggest threat to World Peace.

I think you are goofy. If the US is so bad, why don't we regularly nuke countries, like Iran, who create problems for us and for the rest of the world?
One thing the US does not have: control of the UN. If we did, we would not have to let thug jerks like the leader of Venezuela come into our country and bad mouth us in a public forum.
If the US is so bad, we should have thrown him in jail.
The US does not have "authority" to determine who gets nukes. The US government has the good sense to determine who should not have such weapons. But we cannot stop those countries.

Actually America has a habit of only helping "everyone in society" in countries where they have an interest. -Political or Economc.
You don't see America rushing into places like Zimbabwe do you?

As for the UN I think that question was answered years ago

What makes you think the US controls the UN?

I disagree that the US is the world's bully. I think the US sees itself more as a Big Texas Daddy.
