I have seen spirits and I have talked with spirits. Quite a few people have had an experience with this type of thing, but there are a lot of skeptics. I purchased this old house and I saw the owner who had died - I knew it was the owner because she looked like the son who sold me the house - my son was sleeping in what was her room and he ran into my room saying grandma was in the room - i suppose an old lady would look like a grandma to a 2 year old. I have communiacted with my father - in fact all the siblings have had various communications with dad. I have seen a spirit dressed in a tuxedo who was pulling my doonah off me and I woke up and he just dematerialised in front of me - he looked realy confused maybe he thought I was someone else. I have seen other entities as well including a round faced entity and orbs i described them as pacman and I have experienced a big black thing crouched over me - other people I have met on yahoo have related the same experience. THere has been others as well. Happy ghost hunting

Yes, it has happened many times.

In fact...yesterday as my husband and I were looking to purchase an 1877 victorian B&B, myself, my husband and the realtor with us were all increasingly uncomfortable in the home. Then, as we were talking details regarding the home, he mentioned that not only was the house for sale, the previous owner just 'left' one day (that was obvious). She took the clothes on her back and left everything else to go with the house. We are talking VERY expensive antique furniture, antique wedding dresses on display, China in the cupboards, a new $10,000.00 stove....you name it, it was included. I think that there were even towels and soap left in one of the bathrooms upstairs.
I didn't see anything but this 3,500 sq. ft. home was dark in the middle of the day, turning on the lights didn't even help. the second floor was where we were all the most uncomfortable and I felt sick going into on of the bedrooms.
We were all very happy to leave the home (despite its beauty) - we just couldn't envision raising our kids there.
As we all stepped out onto the front porch, we all seemed to take a deep breath of relief -it was a good 20 degrees warmer outside than in and we all felt 'better.'
I've never seen a real estate agent so uncomfortable before...it was actually quite funny. He wanted out.
The house has been on the market for roughly a year with many lookers but not a single taker.
It's a shame but it's not for us either.
I couldn't tell you for certain but I'm pretty sure there is something there.

In San Antonio ,Texas, the downtown Post Office/Courthouse has a metal detector as you go in. I used to work as a guard there and I was on lunchbreak at about 2:00 a.m. when I hear this "Click" and the green light comes on at the metal detector signifying that someone passed thru.
I kept reading my paper-and I'm alone in the lobby. Then I suddely hear the "Click" again, but then the bells start ringing and the detector is flashing red signifying someone passed thru with a weapon. My supervisor tells me that when the courthouse was built in the 1930's,part of the Long Barracks was torn down to make room for Houston Street and the building.
It's said that when you hear the bell ringing and flashing red,it means that Colonel Travis just tried to come in with his sword.
It's a;lso said that the Alamo defenders are always welcome to come into the Courthouse but they have to leave their weapons at the door.

An old lady died in my apt. and once when I was vacuuming I heard her screaming so loud it freaked me out. I think I vacuumed her spirit, if so it's still in there cause I haven't cleaned it out yet.

Oh, and once I stayed in a hotel that had been partially burnt down in the 1930's. Right when I walked into my room I saw a translucent ball rolling around and it rolled under the bed. Then, later when I came back from a meeting I tried opening my door but it only opened partly and it was like someone was holding it. I finally got it to open and no one was in there. There was no bible in the room so I put the channel on TBN all night and listened to Billy Graham speak about the devil.

Yes as a young girl, I saw a little boy as soon as I got up to go to school. When I tried to say hello, he went into the closet, I opened the closet and there was nothing. I ran downstairs where my grandfather was laying on the sofa, watching TV and he saw the same young boy....He even yelled at my grandmother because he thought she had left the door open and one of the neighborhood kids had come in.So my grandfather and I saw the same boy at the same time. I though it was interesting, I wasn't scared I guess because he was just a kid.

Yes! On several occassions I have experienced "ghosts". I prefer to call them spirits. There is one house that I lived in where an older lady showed herself on several occassions to several people. She was a pleasant person and was just generally 'watching people in her house'. We had guests over that knew nothing of our experiences and they, also, saw her and described her very well. Ghosts need not be scary things, some are very pleasant.

Yes, my son sees his great grandmother frequently. He tried to describe her to me and didn't seem frightened by her at all, but I didn't know who he was talking about. A year later, we were going through some photo albums at my aunt's house and my son got very excited. He was saying the lady in the picture was the lady he keeps seeing. Turns out, this is his great grandma on his dad's side. She passed away long before my sons were born. It freaked me out a little at first, but we are used to her now. We hear her walking around a lot and she prefers a particular room in our house. I haven't seen her as yet, but I definitely know she's there. My son has been seeing her since he was about 6 years old, he's now 13. When I asked about her, one of the family said she lost a son when he was about six. They showed me a picture of him and he has a striking resemblance to my son. Go figure. I guess she's trying to watch out for him. :)

Yes I believe I have. I've never seen anything, but I have felt something trying to pull my duvet off in the night, someone sit on my bed next to me, with me actually feeling the mattress dip down next to me.

And rather weirdly, I woke to feel myself being pinned down against the bed with someone on top of me.

I see this as a good thing. But that's because I'm single and alone with only invisiable men going for me, heheheheheh!
