light on a nokia n73?

My new phone is a nokia n73 there is a blue light above the screen that keeps flashing-does any1 know what its for and how 2 turn it off? Ive read the manual and the only thing it says about it is that it is a light sensor! ta x

its a light sensor, what it does is checks the light in you're surroundings and adjusts brightness and contast to the enviroment you're in.

I have a Nokia N73 its a fantastic phone.
