Really, he is a wuss. How many ladies in the movie put him in his place with verbal abuse. I thought Bond was very submissive in this role. Even the men were ragging on him. And Bond driving a Ford????? I couldn't believe it when I saw that. And how does he go through airport security without a ticket? How do you spend 1 hour of a 2 hour Bond movie watching POKER and find that awesome? And the the other hour has a few long chase scenes seperated by a BORING love interest? I think this is the movie of the times, like Borat, FOR THE BRAIN DEAD that can't think anymore.
And my God, since when did Bond become SO UGLY? Craig looks like a russian boxer that should have been cast as a Rocky 999 villian.

I'm avoiding the movie & making eveyone I know to just ignore it.
I hate the new actor GOSH, its the first time I hate a british actor but he's sooo not the bond style. it's me or the actresses isn't that good eather ?

I thought "Casino Royale" was a great movie but I can see why you may not have liked it. "Casino Royale" was the first James Bond novel that was written. So, this movie is essentially reinventing the James Bond franchise by starting out at the beginning. In the novel and in the movie, we're introduced to a Bond who has just earned his Double 0 status, and is not yet the smooth operator that we are familiar with from the other movies. He's still clumsy and makes mistakes. And we also get a better sense of why James has such fleeting relationships with women, as a result of Vesper's betrayal. James was falling in love with Vesper and then following her betrayal, James becomes a different man (i.e. the Bond audiences are more familiar with) Hope that makes sense.

You're entitled to your opinion, of course...but you're wrong.
Daniel Craig is undoubtedly the best actor since Connery to play the role, and his Bond has one essential advantage that all of the intervening Bonds didn't have...he's BELIEVABLE. He sweats, he gets beaten up, he gets angry, he LOSES from time to time. But the dude is an absolute juggernaut. He just keeps moving forward, and he eventually bulls his way to the outcome he desires.
Long live the new Bond!

Anyone that pays $15 to see a movie is a bit slow, so James Bond got your money, you could have waited and watched it on HBO in a month. Either way, you pay.
Of course James Bond is garbage, the Writer is dead, so its hacks that are trying to copy what was and still is an original ideal.

Yeah, the new bond should've been Julian McMahon. But Daniel Craig did a pretty good job with it.

What are you talking about? I don't even like Bond movies, and even i thought it was good. And the reason i went to see it was because a few friends had suggested it, saying it was good. I guess people just have different tastes in films.

First of all Daniel Craig is gorgeous!! And he is english.James Bond is an english Secret service Agent. The film is called Casino Royale. CASINO,Know wot I mean.!! I think Maybe the film was too far over your head!!

That was a good one, he is one of the worst BOND ever. He lacks elegance,style, looks and what not. He can only be a side kick in the movies and can not be looked upon like Bond which has a class to maintain.
Acc to me that was a pure Flop Show.

thank you thank you thank you!!! i told my husband that the other night. we saw casino royal. it was okay, btu he doesn;t fit the bond type. usually in a bond film you have a cute, handsome wll cut man for the ladies to drool over and for the fellas you have a pretty, hot bod actress. i was so disappointed. he is ugly.
