Is there a difference in the gameplay between the PS3 and xbox 360? if so which one better?

Gameplay depends on the individual games, mostly. The PS3 has that 6-axis controller, which is supposedly really clunky. 360 has XBox Live, which is probably the best internet gaming service right now. Currently the 360 has a greater library of games, so if you're deciding which to get, I would recommend that one. The Wii would also be an excellent choice.
