7x - 3 - 2x = 2(x + 3)

5x - 3 = 2x + 6)

5x - 3 - 2x = 2x + 6 - 2x

3x - 3 = 6

3x - 3 + 3 = 6 + 3

3x = 9

3x/3 = 9/3

x = 3

The answer is x = 3

Insert the x value into the equation.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

7x - 3 - 2x = 2(x + 3)

7(3) - 3 - 2(3) = 2(3 + 3)

21 - 3 - 6 = 2(6)

21 - 9 = 12

12 = 12

X = 3

Solve it yourself...you have to show your work anyways to the teacher....

Get the X 's on one side and the numbers on the other side

First you multiply the equation with the parenthesis ( )

Then you move the x values from the right side by using the opposite value ...if it's 2 x you put -2x on both sides to zero out the +2x....

Then you zero out the numbers on the LEFT side so that you're left with X's on the LEFT and NUMBERS on the right.....

Then you use normal math to make both sides one number

IE 2x -2x + 3 x = 3x
Then +6 + 3 = 9

Then 3x = +9

divide both sides by the 3 in 3x and you come up with X = .........

7x-3-2x=2(x=3) doesn't make sense.

Assuming you meant

7x-3-2x=2(x+3)

5x - 3 = 2x + 6
3x = 9

x = 3

4X^2-17X+35-7X-8=0 4X^2-24X+27=0 (it is a quadratic equation, because it really is in the type ax^2+bx+c) Now, splitting the -24X 4X^2-18X-6X+27=0 2X(2X-9) -3(2X-9)=0 (2X-9) (2X-3)=0 (2X-9)=0 ; (2X-3)=0 X=9/2= 4.5 ; X= 3/2= a million.5 answer is X=4.5, X=a million.5

do you mean '7x - 3 - 2x = 2(x-3)'?

7x - 3 - 2x = 2(x-3)
7x - 3 - 2x = 2x - 6
7x - 2x - 2x= -6 + 3
3x = -3
x = -1
