There should be a whole range of books, stories, activity books, character files etc. in bookshops such as Waterstones, in the Sci-Fi, Children's or Gift ideas sections.
You can also find the classic, and new Doctor Who series in the Sci-Fi or Television series sections at music and DVD stores.
Furthermore, there are plenty of fanfictions, based on all the Doctors at http://www.fanfiction.net If it's up!

Best websites to check are, bbc.co.uk/doctorwho (the official television series website) and I frequent drwhoguide.com.
If you're looking for merchandise try ebay as it would be your best bet.
Most larger bookshops will have the books, obviously under sci-fi but sometimes under tv shows.
Hope that helps a little.

I watched that show the other night! Very entertaining.
It's an actuall show about a ghost/crime fighting detective/doctor-ish man.

Do you mean Dr. Seuss, children's author?
Or do you mean Dr. Who, British TV series character?
