I was wondering if anyone with a Singapore Vpost account can order items from overseas eg, USA. I want to get a Coach bag from USA but I don't know how to go about doing the purchase. The Coach store in Singapore does not have the particular model anymore and the USA Coach doesn't do overseas shipping. Then I heard that Vpost can do it for you.
If anyone can tell me if it works and provide a simple procedure on how to do it, I'll be very grateful.

First you open a vpost usa account. You will be given a account number and a US address. Order your goods and have it delivered to the US Address given to you. Just copy and paste.. Usually, you will get an invoice once the US merchant ship the goods. Forward the copy of your invoice to VPost USA. This tells them that you are expecting a shipment. Vpost USA will inform you that your shipment has arrived. Make payments for freight charges to Vpost. Vpost confirms that payment is made and goods processed. Nothing further is heard from them until all of a sudden the postman from Singpost appears at your doorstep. They will leave a note if you are not in. You are then given a certain grace period to collect from their Eunos headquarters or otherwise the shipment is undeliverable. It shows how bad a Government linked Singapore company runs a valuable service. Alternatively you can shop using other merchants who will ship overseas. Less hassle imho.

You need a vpost account and also the vconcierge service within. You simply locate the website to purchase your item, then either tell vconcierge to get it for you or do it yourself. If vconcierge is getting it for you, you may have to give any other product details just so that they do not get the wrong item for you. Basically vconcierge gives you a US address so the online merchant will take it that it's shipping locally. Once your product arrives at the US address, vconcierge will notify you, and the shipment home is calculated for you. Instructions are really quite easy to follow.
