Money cannot buy forgiveness.
Case 1: If I hurt you/ harm you/ cheat you I am sowing the seeds of wrong actions. In future (next year, next birth may be anything) I will receive same treatment from Nature. That small seed of wrong action becomes a strong tree and I start suffering. Then I ask god why this is happening to me? I don get any answer but feel bad.. I conclude that cheating or hurting someone is bad..
Thus I never do it again
Case 2: If I hurt you/ harm you/ cheat you I am sowing the seeds of wrong actions. I immediately realize that I have done a mistake by cheating or hurting you. I come back, apologize and also offer you some money to compensate your loss. It becomes the duty of the person who has been cheated/ hurt to forgive because God also forgives us when we apologize and cry to HIM.

It is not possible to BUY forgiveness, as it is usually the thought that goes into the process of buying something that actualy gains the forgiveness itself, the money is just a Vehicle to facillitate the process

everything else is just a Bribe. which also does not buy forgiveness , however it does act as a distraction...

Yes, to a degree.

Slap me in the face (lightly don't hurt me) and give me money without me asking you to. If I understand that it is your apology, then I will forgive you.

Money CAN buy forgiveness, but in some cases it WON'T.

Money (directly or indirectly & among other easier ways) can buy you forgiveness unless it is an absolutely unforgiveable thing.
They will forgive , but mind you they will not forget.....

The true test of forgiveness is to forgive the unforgiveable, otherwise one is not forgiving at all.
