to the next president of the united states, to have to deal with the war on Iraq and all the other messes created by President Geogre W. Bush? Don't you think Bush should stay in office and clear up the mess, not as president but as the person in charge of the war?

Every President takes over good and bad from the previous administration.

What is unfair about it? The next president is going to spend a mountain of money, lie through his/her teeth and generally do anything he/she can to get to that office knowing fully well what they are getting into. If they were being drafted you might have a valid concern but not with what they have to do to even get close to running for the office.

Personally, I think you have to be more than a little crazy to even consider the job. Perhaps all presidential candidates should be examined for mental illness? At the very least, they should pass an ethics exam of some sort. There hasn't been one in many years that I would invite into my house or leave alone with my child.

It is always unfair when the conservative Republicans destroy American values and run up a huge deficit. The Republicans don't care about anybody but themselves.
The last thing we need is George Bush doing anything else. He is a ginormous blowhard.

Did you not notice that most of the Democratic candidates are against pulling out of Iraq also? Did your professor forget to tell you that? Try watching the news instead of Seinfeld reruns and see what is actually going on in this country

why, look at vietnam, kennedy, johnson, nixon they were all involved with that conflict. besides Bush is not the only one in the office who has created messes, you must think Clinton was a saint, not, and if Kerry was in there we still would be involved and if we werent there would probably be more terrorist attacks against USA.

The next President CAN choose to nominate Mr. Bush to the position of Secretary of Defense, if he/she chooses.
