I don't know what parents your talking about , all the children I teach ask plenty of questions , maybe parents ask their children not to ask rude questions of people..... other than, it that seems you might be off a little in your perception of parents

Parents do not teach kids not to ask questions, parents teach kids not to ask unnecessary questions as they find their curiousity overwhelming and most of times difficult to answer
