if they do it as a living then ask them for an invoice. Otherwise pick a really nice restaurant (not applebee's or one of those), and get a gift certificate. If they spent an hour or so on the machine you would have probably paid anywhere from $75 - $125 for the repair.

Depends on who is he, right? If he is a service center guy, just pay him his due.
If it is someone whom u cant pay, try a thank you card...or even gift a fancy mouse if he likes his gadgets.
