The short answer is "NO". Hydrogen, solar power, electric, corn, used fryer oil, propane, methane, water, flactulence and any other thing you might think of are FUELS. Some day there may be a self perpetuating engine that produces enough power to move a vehicle. That along with vehicles powered by wind may the closest thing well see when it comes to using no fuel.

At this time, no. Water is not combustible. Automakers are currently working on a hydrogen vehicle that would be economical and safe. Because Hydrogen is highly flammable, it needs to have a safe storage unit. Hydrogen tends to leak through seals and connections as it warms up and turns into a gas, so its hard to keep it contained for any length of time. It needs to be stored at very cold temps in order to stay in liquid form. This is also another hurdle for automakers. Also, the fuel economy for the hydrogen vehicle is simply not up to par with todays gasoline engines, and production is predicted not to hit the market until the 2020s.

truly speaking then you will have to push it. Fuel is the source of energy. How do you expect an automobile to run with out energy. We do have automobiles running on electricity, on hydrogen gas, on natural gas and many other sources of energy. But running with out energy is ..... what to say?

What do you mean Fuel? There are plenty of cars that were built, that run on water, electricity, and other things. In fact you can run a diesel on old cooking oil.
