No one will find out the meaning to life on Yahoo, but at least people ask on Yahoo, so people who visit this site do actually give some thought to the subject. Which is a great deal more than many people in the `real` world do.From your last paragraph, it is easy to tell you didn`t go to Oxford, or you would know to keep `mum`.

I think the question of the meaning of life is a little odd to ask in yahoo! answers. Does anybody even care much about that question? Change the channel on that one.
There are many other more interesting questions than that to answer. Why more people don’t want help being a successful person, I don’t understand.
I think Douglas Adams did a good job and many will agree with me. He did the smallest amount of work possible for the biggest reward. For that alone he deserves praise. Kudos to Douglas Adams!

Yeah, yeah..
I get what you mean, but it is just that you need to understand that to understand the meaning of life, you cannot just rely on theory - textbook and internet. It is not as if you can understand the meaning of life just by multiplying the square of the results of pi times by the diameter of the earth times by the total population in the world times the number of days in a year divided by the square root of the number of capital cities this world have and then you find the equation that relates all those, get the functions necessary and then plot the graph and find the line of symmetry and you can GET the meaning of life. It is not like that.
Instead, you got to walk out of your comfort zone and try all the things in life to get as much experience as possible. You should do more things and learn more. It is the ultimate lesson to learn the true meaning of life.

But... I don't get it, then why haven't Oxford graduates spread the good news, huh? Don't they think the world deserves the real answer to the problem? As for me, I'm sure I don't trust somebody who doesn't consider me "worthy" of knowing what the real deal is. 42 has my <3

Apart from being censored with practically every question, I have been harrassed, my phone has been cut off. I find dead animals around my house and I have firecrackers put down my chimney at 2am. People in Blacked glass cars hover around where I live. When I approach them they drive off. I have been threatened many times. I am thinking of stopping using this site.

I don't see '42' as being 'pathetic,' a little underpowered maybe, but surely not 'pathetic.'
Anyway. The Meaning of Life (or 'Liff') can be found anywhere. BUT, the secret is that ~ ''You just have to be able to recognise it when you see it.''

If so, I'm glad your education has been utilised properly!
