im a fan of the 70's band Jefferson Airplane. Does anyone else know them and if so what is your fave song of theirs?

They're actually a 60s band. But yeah, I like some of their 70s work.
But a song they did in '81 is my fave - "Find Your Way Back".

Anyone who lists "We Built This City" as their fave should be banned...

I only know one song of theirs which is " Somebody to love" as featured in the Jim Carrey movie "Cable Guy"

I do know that they were reincarnated as JEFFERSON STARSHIP in the 70's then STARSHIP in the 80's and had a few hits which I also liked.

I remember the songs "Jane" (J.S)and "We built this city" (S) as well as "Nothings gonna stop us now" (S)

My favourite would be Somebody to love.

I have heard a little of their music and I like Plastic Fantastic Lover from June 1967

The worst thing they did was become AOR rock after they changed their name to Jefferson Starship and if that wasn't bad enough, they got even worse when they changed that to just Starship and the godawful song "We built this city"!

I only know a couple of their songs. They are not really my type of music but i do like the lyrics of "White Rabbit".
