You will offend my un-holy cow if you do...he gets jealous of those cows around him that were not ex-communicated from the Roman Cowlick Church...

Once a 100 year old woman came in to my work and I said aloud "Holey moley!" when I saw her age and she turned out to be a nun. She laughed though. I don't think it would offend Hindus. In fact, I bet that's where the saying came from in the first place.

If you have the slightest feeling that it will offend hindus why then use that word. There are so many in dictionary and nondictionary to use.
