I suffered an ectopic pregnancy ths time last year and lost a tube. My Husband and I have been trying for a baby for years now but have not been successful.
My last period was October 24th. i am quite irregular, usually about a 30-35 day cycle.
I did a pregnancy test but it was negative. i have been so tired and have had a strange feeling in my abdomen but is a completely different feeling to that of my ectopic pregnancy. It is painless and makes me feel like I need to urinate alot!
Does anyone know what could be happening??

Thanks in advance.

There is no point in asking people what could be happening as it could be worrying you unnecessarily and will most probably be the incorrect diagnosis. You are best off getting professional advise from a doctor that way you can put you mind at rest.

When you had an ectopic pregnancy, did they ever diagnose the root cause of the damage to your tube? If not, it may be worthwhile going back to your doctor and asking for further tests, as it may be that you had an infection that damaged your tubes but was never treated.

But it could also be caused by stress and worry following your pregnancy and your attempts to get pregnant. So try to stay calm - that baby will come the minute you stop worrying about it.

Good luck!

It's not that unusual to miss a period all together so that might be the reason. Personally, I would repeat the pregnancy test or ask your GP to do one as they sometimes use more sensitive tests. Good luck.

You should either take another home test or go and see a doctor. If you are having trouble concieveing you might want to contact LIFE UK. They have a very sucessful fertility programme that might be able to help you.

Did you do a home test or did you see a doc? Home tests can give a wrong negative result. I dont mean to get your hopes up but maybe you should see your doc. Good luck and i hope it happens for you :-)

You need to consult with your gynaecologist again.
