Our government is too tolerant, it allows those of us who go to work and earn an honest living to pay our way to get a constant slap in the face either in the form of taxes, or neighbourhoods that are riddled with crime and unsociable behaviour (this is a real sensitive issue with me due to where I live). I'm not sure Brits are too tolerant in themselves anymore, and I think that is due to the government being too tolerant (and their agencies) allowing abuses of the system to occur. Brits in general are feeling intolerant towards those that abuse the system more and more, and that is not good as it creates tension, I hold Labour and Ken Livingstone completely responsible for this(and in no way am I right wing or a conservative!).
We need firmer boundaries - that creates respect among everyone and hopefully a more harmonious society. Right now, it is all about dog eat dog, and a lot of people don't respect anyone because they don't respect themselves - its the sorry state of family breakdown and lack of support and guidance from our society/communities.

Until now the Brits have been very tolerant - too much so. The PC crowd have gone too far and I think that has now pushed the tolerance levels beyond our limit and next year - with even more immigrants coming in under the EU rule - you will see Brits be far less accommodating of the PC ways xxx

Even the most tolerant can be pushed to far, and the liberal PC brigade might just be pushing their "luck" to far. The backlash is coming and will be worse than the poll tax riots.

Tolerance is a horrible word, think about what it means to tolerate something, it means to put up with something that is undesirable. There's no wonder asian communities cut them self off from everyone else, and this is why we have so many race relation difficulties.
