If I could, what would happen if I flicked a lighter on Titan?

I only ask this question now because in the next century it will be of incredible importance to our descendents. What about that "lighter" part folks.

Terraforming (literally, "Earth-shaping") is the theoretical process of modifying a planet, moon, or other body to a more habitable atmosphere, temperature, or ecology. It is a type of planetary engineering.

Titan, largest moon of Saturn. Titan is the only satellite in the solar system known to have clouds and a dense atmosphere.
Its atmosphere is about 95% nitrogen. Its surface, veiled in a thick brownish red haze, was largely a mystery until the arrival at Saturn in 2004 of the Cassini-Huygens spacecraft, which revealed a complex topography shaped by rains, winds, flowing liquids, and other processes similar to those acting on Earth's surface.
It also possess methane to some extent. Carbon content is also sufficient.
If enough Carbon dioxide can be produced by some means like paraterrraforming then Greenhouse effect will take place heating up the planet. Since CO2 is heavy eough it cannot escape the gravitational pull of Titan.

Thus TERRAFORMING IS POSSIBLE ON TITAN.

Two questions.
1st answer. yes
2nd answer. We do not have the technology, now or in the next 100 years, to even begin thinking on how to make Titan a liveable colony for us.

We don't even have the technology or money to look after our own planet, and it used to be pretty close to being habitable.

I think it would take magic or a miracle to enable us to terraform a moon - I suspect it is not even theoretically possible if you do the sums.

Technically we could, but it would take much more effort and money than mankind can deliver at this time. Hence any further question or speculation about that is for no avail at all.

A lot more than it would take to keep our own planet habitable.
