Well, a wife is someone you have promised to spend the rest of your life with in front of Witnesses.. And if you didnt have a Church Wedding, at least one Witness. God. Also, with a wife, you make a commitment and then have a family. Now, a girlfriend is someone you fall in love with and then ask her to marry you later on. If you are married and you have a girlfriend on the side, dont let your wife find out. Cause that is breaking the 10 commandments. Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultry.

the difference is very simple. a girlfriend is some one you are dating and do not have the marriage certificate. as in you are not certified to start a family and a wife is one that you have vowed before your family, friends, a judge, advocate or priest and the rest of the world rhar you will share your lives together through thick and thin and a certificate is offered. get me?
