First dishwashers use less energy and water then hand washing so it will save you money in the long run.
Second once upon a time you claimed you loved her, if you stop acting like you want her to be happy, she will find someone who gives a bleep about her feelings.
And you will be stuck washing your own dishes.
Thirdly if she wasn't so exhausted at the end of the day you might get lucky more often.

I think you should give her something nice to let her know you actually appreciate all her hard work. It isn't very easy keeping the house running you know. I don't even have any children to run around after and I am exhausted after I have cleaned my house top to bottom. At least I have a brilliant partner who does all the cooking and I am very grateful for him doing it. And when I cook, hes the one that washes up. He does nothing else in the house what so ever but becuase he does help out with something, I don't mind.

I would get someone a dishwasher if they dealt with kids all day long and really wanted one (maybe some flowers, also)...she could be asking for something like a blow-up doll... Count your blessings!!

I live on my own and as well as work I have to maintain my house, I never realised how much effort and time consuming it is.

Get a dishwasher you tight get.
