i have a past exam question that says your left hand sends impulses to the right sensory area and association areas and then sends it to the speech motor area on the left cerebral hemisphere. doesnt the left hand send impulses to sensory and association areas on the same side of the body?

the left cerebral hemisphere controls the right side of the body and the right cerebral hemisphere controls the left side of the body.
