We am starting up a new business and have to consider how we want to advertise it. We can't find ANY information on the average price of getting airtime for a commercial. We could do the production ourselves (probably..)
anyone know?
Are also considering radio as a form of advertisement...cost wise, better, or worse?

That depends on the station, the airtime, the competitive ads and a lot of other factors. Some will include production expense in the cost and others won't. Etc..

Most stations have their media kits in .pdf on their sites in their advertising department page.
