We listen the ones that tell us (researchers) to be true because they are researchers. I have to believe them because I am not. We take what they say to be an educated guess. Do you believe the Doctor when he tells you you are sick?. No one knows at all if everything they say is true, but again it comes down to educated guesses. Oh and yes Shayla, it is given by the breast milk, not from the mothers blood. Once the child is conceived, it creates it own blood. That's how my goddaughter got it. She drank from her mother. She has a younger brother that didn't drink it and he is clear.

Well, children get AIDS by an infected mother at the time of birth. They r not infected by breast milk.
I do not think AIDS is transmitted by mosquitoes as the virus dies very quickly out of it's environment.
Families are devastated by AIDS because of infidelity & intravenous drug use. Also archaic thinking of third world countries that sleeping w/ a child will clear you of the virus. Men who r secretly bi-sexual and in denial. And drug users not able to get a grip on their drug use. Also societys sad belief that this is some type of "sinful plague" brought down on those that lead these "secret lives" but that's not tru either. This can happen to any of US not just THEM...

you're paranoid.
If research suggests mosquito is still not a viable medium for the virus and still can't assure the spread of aids even within rapid successions of bitings per seconds then the WHOLE familily can still have a last chance to get AIDS by cutting their own fingers and compulsively let the next member of the family SUCK IT AND SUCK IT like a AIDS resistance test, NOW......CAN YOU GET AIDS OR WHAT ! ;)

Condoms are much safer than not using condoms. AIDS can be passed on by a mother in the womb, so the children are bon with it.

Don't know about mosquitos. Interesting one.
