Try to imagine how you would explain your surfing/viewing habits to your mother/wife/gf if you were to get busted (for something illegal) and the cops seized your computer. Even when you delete your history of visited sites, they are still on your hard drive and can be retrieved.

There's nothing wrong with viewing internet porn, but, like anything else, if you are doing it to the point where it interferes with your normal daily activities, then it is a problem (like any other addiction). Start by installing filters and blocks (the kind you would use to prevent a child from seeing inappropriate sites). If you find that you are unblocking the sites because you just can't STAND not being able to go to them, then, IMO, you have a problem. There actually are 12-step recovery programs for sex addicts. If it's only once in a while, I wouldn't sweat it. And I totally disagree with the person who wrote that porn breeds dominant behavior. That opinion may be that person's personal experience, but, it has no basis in fact. Porn is just like any other "vice" - if it is done to excess, it can be harmful. Be honest with yourself. Unless you are underage in which case both are a no no yet for you but there is nothing better than switching from porn to romance. Although we may think these overlap but they are a total different field and feel on their own. Try romancing someone and youll see the beauty of women rather than them as sexual objects.
