There is no door to separate my kitchen and dining / living area in my flat, and i had the great idea of buying wild west style saloon doors to put there...preferably i would love them in the style of swinging saloon gates rather than big doors......can anyone help???!!!!

The technical term for these doors is "Cafe Doors." In the states, Flairfold is a major manufacturer. Try a good home center or lumberyard. Typically, a company the makes louver bi-fold doors also makes cafe doors. A store that sells one product by a manufacturer should have access to the whole line.
The hinges are called "gravity pivot hinges." They should be available with the doors.

The trick is in the hinge. You can use two shutters, if you have the right hinge. Check out www.rockler.com and see if they have what you need.
