Contrary to common beliefs that doomsday would be here when we are in a resource and energy crisis, Evolution will take place. The race would be on to find alternate and better resources.
The future is unimaginable. Who could have thought a hundred years back, How life would have been today. We don't use the resources people used in the past and this would stand for our future also.
Man could perhaps design a prototype which harnesses the raw power of fusion and fission.
E=mc2--> the key to the future
Imagine a plane running from the energy derived from the matter of human waste like hair or dead nails...
Whatever may happen... life will continue and prosper.

If you look at the collective proven resources available and the total number of people residing on earth, there are more than ample resources for each and every one. The irony is that most of the resources are monopolised or are under the control of a select few - and hence the unequitable distribution and availabilility. As the time goes by new resources are found, technologies developed and ideas sprout. There was never a time when Man did not have the resources and I belive there shall never be such a time in future also. However, if in future a select group of humans strangles the rest by not allowing them to use the available resouces, then surely there will be turmoil. However, in such a do-or-die situation human ingenuity, will and bravery will surface and dominate.

And why should we think that there will not be any resources available when moon, mars and other space exploration has not even started in any real earnest. We have not exploited our oceans or herbal resources ?

Finally, if for an argument's sake no resources are available to the human beings and there is no way to get anything to survive then that would be Dooms Day !!!

I learned this in the sixties when we had fallout shelters and learned how to deal with a nuclear attack. The position should be"bend over, put your head between your knees, and kiss your butt goodbye". Couldn't resist. Seriously, there will certainly be a lot fewer of us, survival of the fittest and all, and perhaps the lessened resources will be enough for the diminished population. Anyway, I'll be dead by then! Good Luck!

There shall be war for the limted resources available. The fittest shall survive. When they also do not have anything, they shall also die. But before that, the world shall be destroyed in Pralaya. Again creation shall start .
