Are you for real? Gravity pulling it down and finds the lowest point and flows that direction till it gets to an ocean or lake.

Not just water. Any object for that matter has to come down due to gravity of earth. ( In fact they are not coming down in absolute sense, they are moving towards Earth's centre.
