what is it that gives some people the ability to distiguish between a serious question and a pi.ss take when others cant tell the difference?

I guess it would depend on why the person was using this system in the first place. I always try to answer questions seriously, or to the best of my ability. I guess I choose the "serious" questions by it's context.. I just look for the reality in what I am being told or asked. I think it is a nice idea to be hooked up with folk this way.

there are 2 ways we comunicate, by voice and by phisical expressions. hear the words and the way it is spoken compare these with the phisical expression. do they add up or seem to dissagree with each other. still confused, try asking: what do you mean? and check these three items again. granted- some people haven't quite gotten all three working together when they speak, however, with practice and paying closer attention to these three items i mentioned, you will be better able to see through much more than you do now and finding it easier to do

it's generally life experience. other than that none of us give a crap and just answer because our lives are so boring for about 30 minutes each day. well that's my boredom over with, I'm off for a 10 hr session with the local bike. Tarra

Its a question asking if it was serious while others think that you are making it not serious when you really are serious but no body knows how serious you are because theyr are not serious.
