You cannot tell the sex of a foetus from its heart rate. Donot trouble yourself by counting the heart rate. Make it easier, go to an obstetrician to do you an ultrasound and tell you the sex of your foetus from the look of its genetalia.

A friend of mine went by that and told me I was having a girl.Wrong. I was having my 1st baby and got more familiar with stomaches. Up and slightly pointy means boy-( not to much weight gain). And rounded and hanging low means girl( weight gain). I also noticed all the women I knew (alot) who were expecting -having boys were not suffering from morning sickness and all the ladies who were having girls were sicker then crap! But that may all be different by person to person.I was not sick and gained no extra weight from being pregnant.I left the hospital wearing the same clothes I wore before I was expecting.

They say that usually a fast heart rate means a boy, but don't bet the house on it. My best friend's baby's heart was fast all along, and they told her for months it was a boy, but she ended up with a girl :)

Do you have a baby earlier, as you are so eager to know what the baby is, I feel it is better you be happy that your baby is in good health and thank god for it... and be happy as this is very necessary for you, instead of thinking about the sex and getting worried...

You can go to the doctor and check it if you want to, but i suggest not to do so... let it be a surprise... a gift which god has given to you...and believe me when it is in your hand you will be happy to see...the small twinkling eyes, and those tiny feets- its amazing..think this and be happy
