OOh this is a good question. I often think about who would play me and what sort of genre it would be but never the music.

Well start with Madonna Jimmy Jimmy or something else from the True Blue album ( i used to dance round my living room to this)

INXS beautiful Girl because even now i love the song.

Livin' On A Prayer ( i always used to dance to this at the end of the night in a club with my friends singing a long even though i dont know the words)

SOme PULP and Suede and Oasis and Blur.
MAdeliene Peyroux, The Jam, lots of motown
Oh and definatly Paul Anka's version of Van Halens Jump.

Oh and Johnny B Goode because its from my favourite film. God i could go on and on.

LOL I think they would all be very dark and bitter songs. I'm not a bitter person, just find that certain songs match me somedays perfectly. This is a good question BTW

Please by Staind... The lyrics, especially the hook and bridge, are very angst filled with a "what more do you want from me" feel to them, as well as lyrics going into being miserable for the sake of someone else, but it doesn't bother them at all.
"Tell me please, who the f- did you want me to be? Was it something that I couldn't see? Never knew this would be so political..."

Bother by Stonesour.... From the first time I heard this one, it amazed me that someone had so closely put into words my life, in a metaphorical sense.
Just check the song... too many lyrics to list here LOL

Numb by Linkin Park... Another one about being caught up with trying to make everyone else happy all the time.
"Every step that I take is another mistake to you, and every second I waste is more than I can take"

Whatever It Takes by Joe Budden... Just a real story teller that relates well... He has some parts where he's having a conversation with his depression like it was another person, and why he tries to get rid of it but it makes him who he is.

Life Goes On by VTZ... Its just a piano piece, but the music speaks so clearly on that concept.
He's real underground, but the song can be found if you look up Life Goes On and VTZ on like Limewire

Angel by Sarah McLachlin... Just a real soft track with some great lyrics. "Spend all your time waiting for that second chance, for a break that would make it okay..."

Good Enough by Evanescence ~ The emotions of feeling great and wondering how long that feeling will last. "And I'm still waiting for the rain to fall, pour real life down on me, cause I can't hold on to anything this good enough..."

45 by Shinedown... "There's no real reason to accept the way things have changed..."

Burning Bright by Shinedown... He did a really great job of expressing the emotions of always feeling lost but not knowing why. "There's nothing ever wrong, but nothing's ever right. Such a cruel contradiction. I know I crossed the line, not easy to define, I'm born to indecision.."

I guess I could list the whole soundtrack but that should be plenty for now...I think I should've thought of some more "upbeat" songs, but I'm tired of typing LOL

I love this question, but it's tough to answer.

I'd pick Nell's "Stay" for the words, "Don't you come out my dear".

SG Wannabe's "Guang" for its rhythm and emotion and lyrics about an unsettled romance. Also for the words, "Because we can't meet again."

Daylight's "Angel Song" for its cheeriness and "Secret" for the sad words, "I wish I could receive love, if only a tarred little bit".

Jo Sung Mo's "To the moon" for the lightly saddening words, "Now, this is my path away."

I guess these songs would be for the emotional parts of the movie.

Well, if it was a true movie (my lifes pretty boring) I guess I would have to go with a comedy about work (customer service)

Take this job and shove it -Johnny Paycheck opening theme
and probably ending credits as well
