You do have to claim your tips as income. Most dancers will file a schedule C, self employment. There are probably expenses that you have out of pocket for your job. Costumes and such. If your employer issues you a 1099-misc, you will fill out a schedule C.

you are supposed to pay taxes but if the business owners doesn't pay you with a regular paycheck or send you a 1099 Misc. income statement then sounds like no!

Yes, tips are taxable because it is income. All income is taxable. Just remember that whatever money you receive, the government will want part of it.

if you declare it on your taxes yo must pay taxes, if you list your profession, check with your assoicates , the IRS may expect a "token" amount to be declared as they know you get tips.
Same as waiter, what you claim and get is your bussness.

I don't think so, since your tips varies every night..anyway, check with your tax office, tell them you rec'd tips as a waitress, so do you need to declared your tips?

No, they are tips. They are what you bring home directly, not on a check stub.
