it's not sunset. it's around 1:00 am so it is quite imposibble. I am thinking if the planetary alignment caused this? (mer. jup., & mars)

isn't that the normal color of the sky? anyway... it's all about optics... you see... when it is 1:00 am there, the light waves traveling towards your country travel in a smaller distance than when it is 6pm. Blue light waves have the smallest wavelength while red has the longest wavelength. Since the distance of your place from the sun is lessened because it the surface of the earth where you are in is facing the sun, the path traveled by the light waves coming from the sun is short. Therefore, the blue light waves can and will reach the atmosphere of the earth. The sky can be reddish if there are a lot of dust particles present in the atmosphere. The light coming from the sun enters the atmosphere, then some of it's color is either absorbed, reflected or refracted by the dust particles leaving only some of the longer wavelength to be seen... thus the reddish color. As for the white, something like that too but more of its waves are refracted.

I'm not sure about these stuff but research it in optics!
