pregnant or not pregnant?

for the last 2 months i have been having my period every 3 weeks instead of 4, this month i should be due on now but havent? should i wait the 4 weeks instead of 3? i came of the pill 2 months ago, please help.

Switching to the pil will sometimes cause your period to "re-adjust" and start a new "cycle" length. So I would give it another week. If you are young, sometimes your period changes up every once in while just to keep life interesting.

Mark on the calendar when you do have your period and keep track of it. If it continues to be irregular or you are having lots of cramping, you may want to go in and talk about it with your gyno. There's hormones that will reset your period if it is not regular enough or is very painful.
Pregnancy tests are fairly cheap and easily obtained. Buy a couple and check if you keep worrying about it too much, because your worrying about it could delay the onset of the period also.
Read up on the pill and make sure you know that if you take certain antibiotics or other medicines it could reduce the effectiveness of the pill. Always use other contraceptives when you take these medicines. Make sure taking your pill is a routine and stick with it.

If I was you I would contact the Couple to Couple League and take NFP classes. By learning how your body works and knowing how to identify you natural periods of fertility and infertility you will know when is the best time to try for a baby and when to abstain if you are not ready yet!
