Yes, my sister just got through with this kind of thing. Please go have a doctor or hospital check your pregnancy levels that will let you know -sometimes an ultra sound doesn't detect this because heartbeats are sometimes not heard due to baby postions etc. 20 weeks or more!! Trust me..Good luck!

yes, you certainly can. That is how a woman has a stillborn child, because the baby has passed away while still in the womb....that is after 20 weeks. Before 20 weeks, it is considered a miscarriage in the early part, or a missed miscarriage if it's in the later stages of that time frame. Most of the time, you still give birth to the little body (this happens most of the time from about 15 weeks onward, I think, as it is usually too difficult for the body to reabsorb the baby), however, as one of the other posters mentioned, on the rare occasion, your body does not get rid of the baby in any way and it can become calcified. This is sometimes known as a stone baby because it becomes so hardened...the mother's body treats it as foreign matter and wraps layers and layers of a calcium rich substance around the baby so as to protect the mother's body from damage. This is rare, though.
If you are pregnant and you think your baby has died, you need to see a doctor as soon as possible. They should send you for a sonogram and listen for a heartbeat, then they will know what to do from there.

Yes you can my sister did for almost 3 months the doctors kept claiming lazy baby but when she finally started freakin out on them in late August the told her the baby was deceased she delivered her little girl natural but the baby was still born and had already sarted to deteriorate inside her. Hopefully you or whom ever you are asking for has better doctors then my sister and niece had but she did go on to have a healthy little boy 12 months later. Good Luck

Not typically. Most women when they miscarry, their body will try and get rid of the baby. However, unfortunately, some women unknowingly will carry that baby in there for a few days before their body begins to send it out. This isn't very common. Most women right after a miscarriage, there bodies will react by trying to send the baby out.

yeah. its sad but yes. If u have an ultrasound and find out its dead they will induce your labour and you will "give birth" to the baby.

yes but eventually your body will get rid of it naturally.
To gener I heard (key word heard) that Dr. sometimes recommend women having the body get rid of the natural way instead of trying to abort it.

If you chop it up and eat it. Wow. That was a gross thought.
But yes, women carry around dead babies all the time and they are preferably delivered in a hospital by forcing labour.
